My name is Dee and I created The Little Green Playpen for several different reasons. I am a mother of a beautiful 6 year old little girl who amazes me more and more each day. I call her my miracle baby, as I was told years before her arrival that I would probably not be able to have children. She is the inspiration to all I do.
A formal school teacher, born and rasied in Los Angeles, CA, I have embarked on a new career path….Certified Birth and Postpartum Doula. I am passionate about helping mommies and their loved ones find the support needed so their pregnancy, delivery and lives as a parent will be positive and empowering experiences.
Aside from being a Doula, I am dedicated to inspiring and supporting families in leading healthy, happy lives. A Green Activist, Organic Junkie, Homeschooling Mom, I am also a Certified Yoga Teacher and Certified Zumba Fitness Instructor. I love being active and healthy and through The Little Green Playpen I hope to help support you do the same. Always on the look out for new products and restaurants that offer healthier, green alternatives for the whole family, I will share my finds here with you. The Little Green Playpen offers a little something for everyone.
I look forward to connecting with others, sharing my experiences, and swapping new ideas, support, articles, products and inspiration.

The website looks great. I am looking forward to your product reviews. I remember when you would send me emails on research you had done or info you had found…that’s how I found Dr. Mercola. Now I get daily emails from Dr. Mercola which has provided me with some very useful tips and info. You keep me inspired, especially on hectic days when you just want go through a drive through or drop whatever in the shopping cart…THANKS!!
